Mickey’s Halloween Party guide map from personal collection.
ermahgehrd I am so in love with that freaking Leota lollipop.
Rides are open during the Mickey’s Halloween Party, and there are additional special events set up all throughout the park. Unfortunately, most restaurants are closed for the evening; food is limited to walk up “fast food” type windows and…well…candy and treats! The French Market is transformed into a fun event space like in past years it was “Club Skellington” a cool dance club hosted by Jack himself. There was also a special Buzz Lightyear dance party at the Tomorrowland Terrace as well as special character spots set up throughout the park. These make for some great photo opportunities, especially since many of the characters featured, like the famous villains, are not always out on “regular” park days.
Snow White is my least favorite princess. I know it has something to do with that nasally singing voice. As a Disney-holic though, I feel it’s necessary to pay tribute to the original princess. While I’m not the biggest fan of Disney’s cartoon Snow White, I do love the story. I’m a huge fan of the way The 10th Kingdom portrayed the character, and most recently, I’m in love with Once Upon a Time. So, in honor of a new Once episode tonight, I give you Snow White’s Scary Adventure Wedding. If I could sum up my idea for this wedding, I would just point at the picture in the top right corner and call it a day. I like the contrast of the white and red. One quick thing to note, the bottom middle has 2 photos of DIY pies-in-a-jar.
Great Ideas that Aren’t on the Board
- Tables named after the 7 Dwarves
- A wooden wishing well at the reception, either a large scale for decor and fun or a small scale for cards and notes
- *This idea works for all fairy tale weddings* Engagement pictures that create a fairy tale story, either a borrowed one, like Snow White, or the couple’s own story. Have a book made with all the pictures and either have that as the favor (pricey) or as the guest book. And of course, they all lived happily ever after.
